Children’s Physio Dorset provides expert physiotherapy for babies, children and young people across Dorset. We support children from premature babies through to teenagers, offering assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and advice tailored to each child’s individual needs.

We work closely with families to make sure advice is realistic and manageable at home. Where helpful, we can also liaise with schools, nurseries, NHS teams and other professionals so that everyone supporting your child is working towards the same goals.

Children’s Physio Dorset is run and clinically overseen by Maggie Dawson, a highly specialist paediatric physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience across the NHS, private practice and international settings.

Maggie’s advanced training and clinical experience ensure that every child seen by Children’s Physio Dorset receives thoughtful, skilled and evidence-informed care. As the practice grows, all associate physiotherapy input is supported through regular supervision, mentoring and clinical discussion.

We are passionate about continuing professional development and are constantly learning, training and developing our skills so that we can provide the best care possible for the children and families we work with.
